Ice, ice, more ice....

Summer on the Bruce Peninsula is great, lots to do, but winter is the best (humble opinion). Quiet, peaceful, dramatic skies and scenery, not to mention snowstorms, fires, red wine... Last weekend, on Nov 16 and 17, my friend and I did some great hikes on the main Bruce Trail to the Grotto, in the Bruce Peninsula National Park. Wind and waves have created ice sculpture and ice trees, so beautiful. We had our tea and pumpkin loaf snack under the Overhanging Point, a gem of a place on the shores of Georgian Bay. Check out these great pics of our hike.
