Side Trail Love

Just for fun I am setting a new goal to hike all the Peninsula chapter side trails in 2020. Because the snow will blanket the Bruce Trail soon some of these will be snowshoe hikes, but that's ok cause the sidetrails are all a manageable distance generally 5-8 kms. Also, because the sidetrails are generally looped with the main Bruce trail, you can start and finish with a more scenic hike than what is termed an "out and back". Close to Dyers Bay and Hiker's Heron BB there are some delightful side trails that take you into wet land areas or inland lakes, great for birdwatching!
